La parte più alta dei boschi di Bosentino sono chiamati "PIANI"il motivo del loro nome è perchè sono pianeggianti e salendo da ogni parte dai boschi si arriva ai "PIANI" essendo il pundo più alto circa 1000 m.s.l.m.
Sono boschi facile da percorrere anche per bambini e se si vuole un posto da passeggiare senza trovare difficoltà è consigliabile.
Si sale prendendo una strada in salita che parte dalla chiesa parocchiale di Bosentino e dopo circa 2 km in macchina si può parcheggiare e salire a piedi lungo una strada bianca di facile percorrenza, oppure salendo
lungo il bosco ma con piu difficoltà.
