Geocache Description:

The IDA Business Park at Ardmore in Mullingar was completed in 2006. The IDA has still not attracted a blue-chip anchor tenant to the windswept 70 acre site.

Westmeath County Council played a major role in ensuring that Ardmore was prepared for the arrival of a big name tenant but unfortunately, the global downturn and the end of the ‘Celtic Tiger’ seems to have postponed such an arrival. The site is finished to a very high standard, it includes bus shelters, a water feature, benches and cycle lanes.
Please bring your own pencil. There is plenty of parking at the entrance near the roundabout.
