This is a wreck of a concrete ship. It was build during world war II from the English and used by the Germans for building the airport in opposite of the Stjörnfjord. During a hard storm the ship broken free and stranded at this place. The body is in relatively good condition and will stay here for further decades.
If you visit the wreck please dont walk over private property or fields, use the Way-Point! There starts a small footpath. Please place the box at exactly the same place if you found it. It is not necessary to climb up inside or outside of the ship!
