wjmoore: Archiving as original cache is definitely gone and no finds of replacement cache have been reported. Additionally I agree this is probably no longer a suitable location for the cache as it is taking a toll on the surrounding environment.

Geocache Description:

A small cache hidden off along the walk to the summit of Hanging Rock.

I've been carrying this cache in my camera bag for a couple of years, meaning to drop it off when I'm out taking photos. I finally remembered on a trip to Hanging Rock.

The cache is small clear plastic screw top container. Along with the log book I left a number of Australia and Melbourne themed souvenirs in it.
