This cache is located in the Beelu National Park off Paten's Brook Track, near Mundaring.
This is a small tupperware container hidden at a nice resting spot along the Paten's Brook Track trail in the Beelu National Park outside of Mundaring, WA.
Paten's Brook Track is an 8Km loop that starts on the Northern side fo the Perth Hills Centre car park and goes via the Paten's Brook campsite - a great place for a snack and toilet break. The Southern return from the campsite includes lovely views of the Mundaring Weir and Lake CY O'Connor.
**A trail map is highly recommended and can be obtained from the Perth Hills Centre at the start of the trail. The trail is marked but you must be looking for the marks.
The cache is located about 2/3rds of the way around the loop, and is about 20 metres from the path in a fairly obvious location which doubles as a pretty view/lookout.
**NOTE: Cache was checked on 15th July and the Visitors Centre said the Paten's Brook Track is closed. Water Corp do not want people on this track and as of the moment it is not available if you ask at the Centre. The marks are still available though, they start at the large Bibbulmun Track sign at the edge of the car park, and are white triangles with 2 gum leaves and gum nuts. The Visitors Centre said we may get a fine for walking the track, however there are no signs posted.
