Then, stop for a bit and sit a spell

The cache you will find
right in front of you.
This is an easy find, but requires a little hike to get there. It is located on a well established pedestrian/equestrian trail on the southeast side of Benbrook Lake. It can get a little muddy after rain but is easy hiking terrain. Park at the Nature Trail Head on the right just before the entrance to Rocky Creek Park. There is no fee to use the trail. Trailhead parking is located at N 32° 36.375 W 097° 27.065. Plan for a little time to enjoy the great outdoors. There are some other caches along the way. Be sure to yield to horses on the trail. If you are familiar with the layout of Rocky Creek Park you can pay the entrance fee and shorten your stroll by walking the closed road above the private marina instead of the nature trail. This has long been a favorite spot for silence and solitude so it becomes the G-O Gals first cache to hide. There was a Texas size storm moving in from the west when I placed the cache...an awesome sight from this spot. Log only. Match box inside a pill bottle BYOP. Cache in Trash Out!
