A leisurely paddle to Odessa Lake. You are seeking a pill container
( nitroglycerin waterproof container)
This is not recommended for a MOTORIZED watercraft as the level
of water and debris beneath the surface could cause damage. A canoe
or a kayak would be the preferred travel.
The distance to the cache is approximately 2.3 km (ONE WAY) and
at times there can be a stiff breeze across the widest parts of the
lake.
DO NOT ATTEMPT THIS CACHE FROM WILTON ROAD for you will find
yourself landlocked by the floating islands of reed and marsh
grasses. When level of water decrease the difficulty in reaching
the cache may increase.
At the time of placing this cache it was easily reached from a
kayak. You do not need to leave your boat for this one. An easy
reach and any easy spot for all who come.
Please DO NOT REMOVE THE CONTAINER FROM ITS HANGER. One has only
to twist the top and the log will reveal itself. This is a silver
topped container larger than the normal bison tube.
Bring your own pen and always wear your life preserver and
follow the rules of good boating.
