The Murray and Minges General Store was built in 1890 and moved
to its present location in 1911. To the right side of the building
(as you're looking at it) and down the hill is Balls Creek, the
main power source for the mill site. To the left of the store is
the oldest structure on the property. This home once belonged to
William Murray, the first of the Murrays to run the mill. When
William passed away he left his share of the milling business to
his two sons John and O.D.
In the grass and rocks around this cache live many of the local
residents: groundhogs, frogs, snakes, mice, and other little
critters. Keep your eyes open for them when looking for this cache,
especially before looking under rocks and grasses.
