The cache can be found by following the human path and finding a deer path from it to avoid tramping wildflowers. There is another cache along this trail. The trail can get overgrown in the summer and this is a hunting zone so watch for hunters.
This is our first hide. Of course we have the park's permission. I have hiked here many times and this spot came to mind immediately when we decided where to hide our first cache. The cache is in a plastic screwtop container filled with lots of great treasures.
