Przed drugą wojną światową Skala z Medalionem (Schattenstein) stanowiła jedną z najważniejszych atrakcji turystycznych Ziemi Lwóweckiej. Skała ta to ostaniec piaskowy o wysokości 14 m, o podstawie 8/8 m. Nazwa skaly zwiazana jest z medalionem z XIX w., który znajdowal sie w poludniowej scianie i przedstawial wizerunek cesarza Wilhelma II. Medalion zaginal w latach 80-tych ubieglego wieku. Kilka lat temu wmurowano zastepczy medalion z herbem Lwówka Slaskiego. Na szczycie skaly znajdowal sie dawniej punkt widokowy. Dzis pozostaly tylko resztki metalowych barierek i masztu flagowego. Skala jest przystosowana do wspinaczki.
Medallion Rock (Schattenstein) was one of the most important tourist attractions of the Lwówek Slaski region before World War II. The rock is a sandstone monadnock 14 m heigh with a base 8 x 8 m. The name "Medallion Rock" refers to a medallion attached to the north face of the rock that depicted Wilhelm II emperor. The medallion was lost in eighties of the XX century. A couple of years ago a replacement medallion with an emblem of Lwówek Slaski town has been installed. It used to be a beauty spot on the top of the rock. Now only remains of metal railing and a flagpole left. The rock is suitable for climbing.
Das Gestein mit dem Medaillon. Vor dem zweiten Weltkrieg bildete das Gestein mit dem Medaillon (Schattenstein) eine der wichtigsten touristischen Attraktionen des Löwenberger Landes. Das Gestein ist sogenannte „Ostaniec“ aus Sand mit der Höhe von 14 Meter, mit dem Gestell 8/8 Meter. Der Name von dem Gestein ist mit dem Medaillon von dem XIX. Jahrhundert verbunden. Es befand sich in der Südwand und stellte das Bild von dem Kaiser Wilhelm der II. dar. Das Medaillon verschwand in den achtziger Jahren des vergangenen Jahrhunderts. Vor ein paar Jahren mauerte man das Ersatzmedaillon mit dem Wappen von Löwenberg ein. An der Spitze des Gesteins befand sich früher der Aussichtpunkt. Heutzutage ist nur der Rest von Geländer aus Metall und Fahnenmast geblieben.
