Geocache Description:

Ever think it's a nice day for a drive? Well, this series is for you! Get out of the house and enjoy the drive along the Mississippi into the blufflands and farmlands. All caches are along blacktop roads and within a short distance of the roadway.

Welcome to the It's A Nice Day For A Drive Series, this series is designed to give you a nice drive with scenic views and some caching along "backroads" of the Coulee Region. The first leg will take you along the Great River Road and the second leg will start in New Albin, Iowa and take you up to Eitzen, Minnesota. All of the caches are located near/on paved roads for those of you with motorcycles and sports cars that want to take them for this series. Cache containers vary from location, but most will be similar containers. Hope you enjoy this and if you do let me know so that I can decide if I wish to extend the series on from Eitzen.

Driving along home after placing caches for my Nice Day For A Drive Series when I spotted the sign for Dunromin Road and thought.. hmm.. perfect for the end spot for the series! So, come check out the area while you make the search for the cache. Check out the really interesting rocks in this area, we noticed some with crystals in them which made for a fun time looking at the designs in the rock.

So, for now with this series, you are DUNROMIN !!
