Just a nice walk in DNR-managed property which also has a small
tributary of the Kinnickinnic River running through it. Near the
cache is a great example of the work the local DNR has done to
restore this stream – very nicely done. If you look
carefully, you’ll probably spot some trout. Also a good area
to see other wildlife – keep an eye out.
There is nice off-road parking nearby. The walking conditions
here can vary depending on the time of year. It might be a good
idea to have waterproof shoes on, just in case. Some times of the
year will be dry but may also present some tall grass. Cache is a
camo’d mayo jar with room for swag and trackables. Have
fun!
