Geocache Description:

WELCOME to The Bremerton Gateway Series, Part 1! At this time, this is the starting point of Series. We decided to use this area due to the scenic advantage and ease of parking for the route. We hope you can enjoy this as a break from the fast pace of our daily lives. The cache should be an easy find while you enjoy the mountain and water views, if you can see them.

This cache is on a little sidetrip off the freeway but still part of the route. This section was included in the design to beautify the way in town and be more friendly. Maybe they were aiming to keep that title of' The most liveable City' as if it was a dedication.

Now, about the cache: We placed it as a stop/start along the route if you decide to walk or bicycle along the way to each cache. You should be able to spot the hiding place very easily. Please observe how the cache was placed and make sure to re-hide it well.

We decided to make this a mini challenge, and give a prize for who has the most FTF, STF of all the caches in the series. This means that we are only going to release a few at a time, so everyone has a chance.

PLEASE USE PARKING COORDS ON THIS PAGE (or near another cache in the series) FOR A LEGAL AND SAFE PLACE to begin your journey. You will find your way to a sidewalk to walk/ride down to it and maybe even find the other cache that is nearby. This one is wheelchair accessible for getting to the location but may be difficult to make the find. Please stay near sidewalk. Hopefully the coords will help you make the find quickly as well. It will be like a walk in the park.

When this route is complete will make a nice summer or warm spring day activity for those who should enjoy the new facelift that the city has provided for us. Bear with us as we post the new ones. The caches are all on a public greenbelt , either close to or reachable from the sidewalk. Also, Most of the caches are going to be 'micros' so its hard to put a prize in each one. However, some may have a TB or COIN in them. There will be a FINAL for those who have completed the entire series.
