Trifecta - Large Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

3 Williams Kidz: Unfortunately, it is time to archive the Trifecta series. After communicating with the last couple of cachers who tried for the series, we were informed that there is construction going on in the area. So today, we went to check and oh, boy! Over a dozen earth movers, new "roads" being cut, and some of the terrain that used to exist doesn't any longer.
Trifecta Small was still there, so we retrieved the container.
Trifecta Medium was in a tree, and the construction crews removed the tree. We found the pencil and the pencil sharpener on the ground.
Trifecta Large was an ammo can under a small boulder about 3 feet in diameter; the boulder is gone, and the bulldozers have made many passes through that area -- the ammo can is MIA, probably taken by one of the construction crew people.
So, this ATV/dirt bike/mountain bike area is now off limits (we didn't see a "No Trespassing" sign until we were on our way out) but the series is being archived.

Geocache Description:

If you go after this one you might as well go get all three. Those of you with local knowledge will no doubt have ways to approach the cache to avoid trash and creek hopping. I don't have that knowledge, that's why my left foot is wet. With all the great places in Colorado Springs I try not to put caches in trashy places. I did see a Red Tailed fox and a small rabbit as I was planting the cache. I have listed one parking possibility.
