Geocache Description:

Pulborough - Swan Corner

The coords given are for limited parking and clue gathering. Alternative parking can also be found just 50 yards over the bridge, first turning on the left. The cache it'self is a small version with log, pencil, some swops.

Swan corner has been at the center of the village for many years. It has hosted hotels, pubs, shops, charity duck races and many many boats via the river Arun. The area now has 2 bridge crossings and offers wonderful views of the pulborough brooks and south downs. From here you can travel North, East, South and West via the A24 and A29.

Once at the location you will need a reference point! Then you can work out the simple clues to complete these coords N50 57.ABC W000 30.DEF

A = The number of Parking areas on the map

B = The numer on the map that represents Parham House +3

C = The 5th Number in the Angling Information phone No. (Inc STD)

D = The old bridge was built in the mid 1?00's

E = The number of boats that can be seen on the map of the river (look closely)

F = The number of golf flags +2

Once you have found the cache and if you have time there is a lovely corn store opposite the slip way which is worth a wonder and maybe even some tea and cake!
