You can fairly easily get to this when it's dry out, otherwise you'll probably need Rubber boots, 4WD or a boat.

As the title states, the road to this old campsite is not maintained. There used to be some nice campsites down here, but it flooded often enough that elk city gave up maintaining them. You can still see remnants half buried concrete tables, signs, lantern posts, etc.
You can probably drive right to the cache if it's dry, but I would recommend a vehicle with decent ground clearance as there are some fairly deep ruts in route to it. If there's been any sort of rain recently I would suggest you have 4WD. You might also be able to get to the cache by boat if you put in a Card creek public area (N37.258003, W95.849530), but the bank is pretty steep directly in front of the cache, so use caution if you do. If the rains have been real heavy like the last couple years it could be under water at some point! Those are the main reasons for the 4.5 terrain rating.
Hopefully you can take some time and enjoy this quiet spot as much as I did. Bring a fishing pole if you into that.
EDIT: 08/30/2011 - visited this last night. The vegetation has really grown up around here making this a lot tougher to find. So I'm bumping up the difficulty. I drove out to it and didn't reconize the spot.. If you want a challenge, come look for this :)
