Geocache Description:

Barooga Cemetery - Unnamed Soldiers

Welcome to my 50th cache hide...
I stumbled upon the plaque at the starting point of this cache while having a wander through the cemetery while looking for a spot to hide this cache. It was initially going to be a traditional, but i had to bring people's attention to this.

The plaque tells you that within the Barooga Cemetery lay the remains of men and women who served in the armed services during the second world war. There is no mention of names, and which armed service. I can not find any information on who the people are who lay at rest here.

So with that in mind, please take a minute to think about the sacrifice of the many men and women during the many conflicts Australia has been involved in worldwide, in the defense of democracy and freedom and our way of life in Australia and other free countries around the world. The men and women laid to rest here were someone's mother, father, son, daughter, or just someone special to someone else. LEST WE FORGET.

Below is a view across the cemetery.

To find the final cache, you wont have to go very far, and you will just need a little bit of info from the plaque.... This is a very easy multi cache.

THE PUZZLE...

Well its really simple really. Just a simple letter to number substitution. A = 1, B = 2, C = 3, etc.....

A = Second letter on the first line of text.
B = Second letter on second line of text.
C = First letter on fourth line of text.
D = Third letter on fifth line of text

That's about it folks, nice and easy. Hope you have a bit of fun in the area.

As always with my caches, and anywhere in Australia, beware of Snakes. I have seen many crossing the road near the cemetery here. Kids will have fun with this one, and it is an easy one to introduce them to multi caches with. Just keep an eye on them with the road and the snakes.
