Welcome to Bannister Island! - There are a thousand islands in Belize - This is one of them.


 
Bannister Island is a nice tourist stop after a snorkel on the reef. Just relax at the beach, have a swim, or a drink at the bar, a sit under one of the palm leave covered roofs... A great spot to feel the caribbean relax.
 

 
Obviously, you need a boat to come here, can land at the peer. If you don't have a boat, you are certainly visiting the area and are searching activities - jump on a snorkel tour which lands here! Even some of the cruise ship sub contracters hold here, so no worries - if you're a serious cacher, just ask for Bannister Island before you embark.
