Geocache Description:

The second in a series of caches documenting my adventures in getting "stuck" while geocaching, this one is a micro just off of a sand road in Manchester, NJ.

On this beautiful spring day, team Megplant, currently of Ebensburg, PA, set out to enjoy caching here in the Whiting area. For our last find of the day, we set our sights on the Cliff Hanger Cache (GCK8TY). Since the description said a 4 wheel drive vehicle was needed but we had only our Kia Rio Cinco, we decided to see how far we could go before turning back. Driver Plant,Meg was not going to let a little sand keep us from a smiley, so we successfully reached the Cliff Hanger Cache, claimed the smiley and enjoyed the views there before turning back and finding ourselves stuck in the sand. Word to the wise: use a 4WD vehicle for caches that recommend 4WD vehicles, this one included!

We called GlencoeMac for assistance and he came to rescue us and recommended calling AAA, and with roadside assistance, we successfully escaped the sand!

This cache is a sequel to a previous "stuck" cache, GC1R7JT, when I became stuck along with two PA cachers when the vehicle we were in broke down in the PA gamelands. This adventure was with a different group, my family, the rest of team Megplant. GlencoeMac had given me containers to hide, and this seemed just the moment!

It's a micro so BYOP, hidden a short distance from the "road". Some cachers will need another cacher or a tool to find this. Please rehide as well and securely as you find it. GlencoeMac was around for part of this adventure and is available to check on this or maintain it if local maintenance is needed.
Happy caching!
