Welcome to The Ridgecrest Geocachers Spaded Series, containing 59
caches between 'Micro' and 'Regular' size; arranged and hidden to
form an aerial spade.
This is not a 'floatable' series. Please do not move/alter any of
the geocaches. We hope you enjoy your day exploring and caching in
the Mojave Desert, and always remember to tread lightly.
85% of this series may be accessed with a short walk off of
existing dirt roads, the other 15% will require additional hiking.
There is A LOT of soft sand in this area, a 4x4 is
recommended.
DO NOT MAKE YOUR OWN TRAILS! While placing this series we
encountered the largest desert tortoise we've ever seen, please be
aware that this is one of their few remaining habitats, and it is
against the law to touch them, even if you mean well.
This series is located across the highway from the "Springer Power
Trail" and is within 30 miles of the impressive "Trona Power
Trail".
