Geocache Description:

On the Jack Mytton Way, You do not need to climb to reach this cache but may need to use a long arm! This section of the Way is on a hilly lane that is sometimes used by cars and can become muddy when it is very wet.

Please be reassured that the people who live in the house that overlooks this cache are not muggles and said to us that they were happy for it to be placed so close to their house.

This cache, a small clip and lock box big enough for travel bugs, geocoins and a few small swaps, is placed on the Jack Mytton Way. From the northern edge of Wyre Forest, the Way follows a disused railway to Highley and the Severn Valley and goes across rolling farmland to Much Wenlock where it then follows the escarpment of Wenlock Edge, to cross Ape Dale and descend to Church Stretton. It climbs to the Long Mynd via the Cardingmill Valley, to reach Plowden and Clun Forest. It runs for a stretch alongside Offa's Dyke before finishing on the Shropshire/Powys border.

This cache is placed on a section of the Way that is close enough to a main road to make it a quick find for those passing through Church Stretton in the car and would be perfect for anyone out for a walk in this beautiful part of the English countryside.

This cache was launched with the following contents:
Log book
Geocaching info sheet
small pack of playing cards
dog key ring
merseyside police pin badge
pencil
