This is my first hidden geocache and in an area that has been enjoyed by my family for years. Aldenham Country Park is a lovely wooded area sufficiently close to the London suburbs but with plenty that nature offers for people of all ages.
The cache is off the main path and is easily accessible. Although when its been raining you may prefer some wellies. I hid it together with my 6 year old. Please cover after finding.
At the time of writing there was plenty of parking available. There is a five pound exit fee coins required. The area is currently maintained and there are a number of facilities for adults and children. The area is due to be retained as an open space but not maintained.
The site is accessible by foot. The main dirt path can be used by cyclists but the last part is definitely by foot.
