Meriton Road Park is a small park in Handforth, opened in 1935. It is a green oasis almost entirely surrounded by urban development, a stones throw from Handforth village centre.
Meriton Road Park is certainly one of the lesser known parks in the wider area, but, despite its small area, there is a fair amount to do here;
In the park you will find;
* Football pitches
* A basketball court
* Tennis courts
* A children's play area
* Outdoor gym and fitness equipment
* A miniture railway
You can gain access to the park from several places around the park's perimeter. There are two entrances on Meriton Road itself, one on Hampson Crescent, one at the top end of Grangeway and finally a further access from the Paddock shopping centre rear car park.
Considerable stealth will be required, particularly during weekends, as this is a popular area for locals and muggle dog walkers.
You are looking for a micro with just a pencil & logbook.
