Geocache Description:

Cache is a small cammo'ed tin. Please hide as well as or better than you find it.

Cache number 11 inspired by a list of 100 must-read novels I discovered a couple of years ago. It is not necessary to have read the book to find the cache. There is something about the location that makes me think of the novel.
In the American classic "The Grapes of Wrath" by John Steinbeck, we are introduced to the hardships endured by migrant families in the 1930s. There are migrant families today, especially in highly agricultural regions such as the Willamette Valley.

This cache is located near the central office of a non-profit whose mission is to provide a safe place for the children of such migrant families. It was started in 1995, following the death of a young child, left in a car in 100 degree temperatures, while her parents worked in the fields.

Unactivated TB for FTF.

Congrats to KoolAidWino for pulling himself out of his sick-bed for the FTF!
