CHARLES H. BARTH -
(1858-1926) Army Engineer, born in Iowa. He graduated at West
Point (1881) and was involved in the Apache Indian Campaign (1881)
and Philippine Insurrection (1899-1902). Charles was an instructor
of Infantry and Cavalry School and Staff College, and recommended
four times for brevet commendation for bravery in action in
Philippine Insurrection.
