År 2006 beslutades att
Pluto, vårt solsystems nionde och yttersta planet, inte
längre uppfyllde kravet för att vara en fullfjädrad planet.
Himlakroppen klassificerades istället som en plutoid,
en dvärgplanet bortom Neptunus.
Din uppgift i denna övning
är att med hjälp av Örebro Astronomis ca 2 ½ km långa
skalenliga modell av vårt solsystem, hitta platsen där Pluto
skulle
kunna befinna sig. Modellen börjar med Solen vid Olof Palmes
torg,
och avslutas med Neptunus uppe på Svampen.

In 2006 it was decided that
Pluto, our solar ninth and outermost planet, not
longer met the criterion for being a full-fledged planet.
Instead it was classified as a plutoid,
a dwarf planet beyond Neptune.
Your task in this is that
with the help of Astronomy Club in Örebro and their 2 ½ km
long
scale model of our solar system, find the place where Pluto
would
fit in. The model begins with the Sun at Olof Palme's Square,
and ending with Neptune on top of our popular
landmark called Svampen.
