The Signs Are Everywhere - Part 1 Multi-Cache

This cache has been archived.

secondgunman: This one has gone missing twice and is part of a series that requires way too much maintenance. I left it disabled (and not archived) until I got around to retrieving the final container. This one is now gone and the rest of the series will be joining it shortly. Thanks to all those who found it!

Geocache Description:

Those of you who have completed my Playin' By The River series will recognize this five part multi-cache. The first four are relatively simple multi/puzzle caches that will help you find the location of the fifth and final cache in the series. Just like last time, these four caches exist in two rather obvious pairs. One north/south pair, and one east/west pair. Once you've found those four caches, you simply plot their location and draw two lines, one connecting the north cache to the south cache, and one connecting the east cache to the west cache. The point where the lines cross gives you the location of the final cache in the series.

I set the difficulty and terrain ratings of the first four caches at levels appropriate for those caches. For the final cache, the difficulty rating reflects the amount of work required to find its location, while the terrain rating is the highest of the previous four terrain ratings. Only one of the caches in this set is more than a few feet from pavement, and none are more than five or six feet high.

For those who have not completed my Playin' By The River series, there's no reason you can't try this one. Because these are all in town and the distances involved are shorter, this is probably the easier of the two series. Please remember that you can certainly treat parts one through four as separate caches. You don't need to do the entire series, but if you do then you should log all five finds.

The posted coordinates for this cache will take you to a location very near two roads. Traffic here can be heavy, so please watch your children. While here, it will be difficult for you to NOT notice the benchmark at your feet. It's FH0808 and it is loggable here at geocaching.com. I encourage you to take a look and maybe take a quick picture while you're here. It also gives you a great cover story in case you get muggled. At this location you will find posted the coordinates to the final part of this little multi-cache. The final is in a quiet residential neighborhood, so some stealth will be required when getting it, and it's a standard magnetic micro.
