Perry Wood is a truly unique spot with jutting mounds of sand and heathland wildlife amid the rolling chalk of the Downs. Its position in the landscape with fantastic views to the coast and countryside means that it has a rich history. This is one of our favourite walks as a family and the views are excellent. To do this cache, park at N51 15.798 E 000 55.769 If visiting during or after heavy rain, I suggest proper walking boots or decent wellingtons as the paths are not only very muddy but the walk actually involves a steep climb and descent. Please replace the caches as found as the route is fairly popular, so a bit of stealth may be required. Please also note that while phones do work here, you will be better off using a Proper GPS device to ensure accuracy. While visiting, you could also consider doing the following nearby caches.
The Cache is in a Camo Bag and inside is a clip lid container. When placed, it contained the log book + Pencil, Best of British Geocoin, FTF badge, Roald Dahl Notelets, Disney Princess hair band, Football Cards and a pencil sharpener.
