Cachemax73: A maintance visit this week found the cache gone, but the magic box still intact. I have decided to call this a day for this cache its been going since 2011 so has had a good long run. Thank you to all who have visited and for the 100+ fav points.

Geocache Description:

Welcome to my magic box.
Hopefully you don't have to be Johnathan Creek, Derren Brown or the great Paul Daniels to work this one out!

The cache is a 4" tall and 3" diameter container but still large enough a few coins or small trackables.
There's a few small swaps in there along with book and pencil. Finding the location is easy but you'll need to use your head to find the cache. The cache is designed to be cunning bordering on devious.

The location is on top of Tividale aqueduct, which carries the Birmingham Canal Navigations Old Main Line Canal above the Netherton Tunnel Branch Canal. There is an iron down pipe which once fed a water turbine in a brick annexe which generated electricity to illuminate the Netherton Tunnel

Tividale Aqueduct is one of only six examples of a canal crossing another canal on an Aqueduct in the UK . Another 2 can be found further down canal in Smethwick.

There is parking at nearby bridges with access from side roads.

You can walk along the canal from here to Sheepwash Park, using one of two pedestrian tunnels that goes under the canal and railway. The cache spawned its own event on January 11th 2012 to celebrate the CO's birthday.

If you have a narrow boat then why not moor up for a cache n dash? Mooring points next to the cache.

** Make sure no one is approaching before attempting to retrieve the cache. After being muggled and replaced twice in 2011 and again in 2014 I would ask anyone finding it to ensure the camo is properly replaced **
