This cache is a 10 minute walk on the chase at the Birches valley visitors centre with plenty to see. Might be a little difficult for young children to access and a baby buggy not gonna cut the mustard. Wear some decent boots too..
To get to this cache it is advisable to park at Birches valley visitors centre, but be warned you now have to pay to park here. As you walk the area there are lots of great sculptures and art work to look at whilst your there. There is a Cafe and mountain bike hire shop there along with a great play area for the rugrats to amuse themselves. If you keep your eyes peeled you will see some interesting local fauna.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank the Forestry Commission for their help and for granting permission to place this cache and please bare in mind that there are ground nesting birds, adders and other sensitive wildlife on the chase.
