WW2 Pillbox (Bexhill Seafront) Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

LostInTheWoods!: I am unlikely to get a chance to visit this cache anytime soon to check on it.

So, with a tear in my eye, I am archiving this 10.5-year-old cache. 😢

Many thanks to all who visited and especially to those who helped with its maintenance. 😁

Happy Hunting.

Geocache Description:

This cache is a 100 ml specimen bottle located at shingle level.

As the name suggests, this cache is located near to a WWII Pillbox.
Notice that the two machine-gun loopholes point left and right, and not towards the sea.

You can only access this cache by walking along the pebble beach. So I doubt that it will be easy for cachers with pushchairs or buggies (strollers) to get to.

It's likely to be Muggle Central during the Summer so the Additional Hint should make it an easy find.

Lots of information on pillboxes and other WW2 defences may be found here: http://www.pillbox.org.uk/
