Geocache Description:

This will be the third annual Stomp, a cache-and-release type of event for the Kamloops area. The registration deadline for the event will be March 27. This allows organizers to plan for space, seating, prizes, etc. Any registrations after Mar. 27 will be placed on a waiting list in order of registration.

The event starts at 9:00am, April 2.

  • All geocachers are welcome.
  • Meet at Bert Edwards Science School.
  • In-person registration will be in the school gym.
  • Cache information will be available in print form and as GPX files.
  • Participants are asked to donate one prize per family as the "registration fee" for the event.
  • Drop off prizes at registration, please.

Geocaching will start at 10:00 am Saturday.
  • A meet-up table will be set-up in one part of the gym and cachers can work out "search parties" and carpooling for the two days.
  • There will be no formal event for Saturday night, but cachers will be provided with potential "meet-up" locations and times through the site postings.
  • Puzzle caches will also be offered and some of the "meet-ups" can work out puzzles as a team effort.
  • Last year, we released over 50 new caches and this year we hope to exceed that number.


The weekend ends with a sit-down dinner on Sunday night with a social, prizes, and some surprises at the Noble Pig, 650 Victoria Street, Kamloops. We have reservations at the restaurant part at 4:30 for 60 seats. Please confirm whether you will be attending dinner too.
