Presents to Mom: 'tags are HOT! (or cold?) Traditional Cache
RedhedMary: [red] It's time. Not being used as I intended when I placed it so am archiving. Word is that a new cache will be in this area sometime soon...
Went to retrieve the container tonight (yes it was still there) and there was a tree frog making itself comfy on top of the container. For those who wondered, the cache container was a thermometer, hence the "hot or cold" part of the cache. Thanks to all those who found the cache.

A cache to exchange those little metal tags that many of us like to collect.
December 25, 2010. My muggle son gave me a bunch of creative caching containers for Christmas. I decided they would make a great series. Therefore, the "Presents to Mom" series! This is the debut cache for the series.
This cache also serves as a place to exchange those little metal tags that many of us like to collect. These tags are usually considered trade items that the finder can keep. This cache, though, gives us collectors a way to get some new tags for our collections. Please put in at least one tag for every tag that you take.
I chose this location for a tag exchange cache since the "home base" of the people who make these tags is very near by! They don't, however, have anything to do with this cache.
Terrain may vary a bit depending on weather conditions and the season.
Please be sure to replace the cache in the same way it was hidden - and be sure it is securely closed as well. Thanks.
The cache is starting out with the three tags that I have extras of: my signature tag and two different MiGO tags.
