This Cache is located at the "Odawa Pass". The terrain at the Cache site is level and is at approx 1017 meters in altitude.
This pass provides a narrrow (but good) road-way over the mountain ridge betwen Okutama Town and train station in the Northern Valley, and Ozawa Village in the Valley to the South.
This is a good location to take a break from your hike and enjoy the view to the Valley to the North.
There are also public restrooms available at this location. 
The Cache location will provide you with a good view into the Valley and Mt Mutsuishiyama and the Ishione Ridge-line to the North.
This is also a good location to begin a summit approach for Mt. Nokogiriyama (1109 meters), which is the nearest mountain peak to the East of this location.
This Cache is not difficult to find but it does take some time and efort to reach this location.
