This cache is not at the posted coordinates.

At the posted coordinates you will see two information boards showing information about the Pathways to the Alps, the various roads and routes used to reach the summits of Victoria's alpine peaks. You will need to read these boards to obtain the information required for this simple offset multi. WP1: From the information boards obtain the following: A = What year did pastoralists first discover the route across the alps traditionally used by the indigenous tribes? BCD = The length of the Alpine Discovery Drive between Bright and Omeo in kilometres? E = The middle digit of the road number that you would take for the Mt Buffalo Drive? F = The year that the first vehicle crossed the alps? To find the final resting place (GZ): Subtract from the original south coordinates the value of (F-A-19) Subtract from the original east coordinates the value of (B+C+D-E) The cache is a camouflaged sistema container with logbook and several swaps including our Alpine Walking Track Pathtag for the first to find. ***************************************** Please keep an eye on your geokids whilst doing this cache, as the information boards are in a rest area with cars coming and going Parking area is suitable for caravans, camper vans and trucks *****************************************
