Cachen er plassert ved rundkjøringen/undergangen i Minde allé. Her gikk kommunegrensen mellom Bergen og Fana frem til sammenslåingen i 1972. Rett nedenfor ligger gamle Minde stasjon der siste tog til Oslo passerte 1.august 1964.
