Geocache Description:

Welcome to Flitwick - with a silent 'W'. This is a series of caches designed to increase Flitwick's presence on the caching map. They will be added gradually over the winter of 2010 / 2011. If you wish to chase the FTF you'll have to come here often. Alternatively you may want to wait till all of them (I'm intending for them to be 15 plus a bonus cache) to be in place. Plan your own route around the delights of Flitwick!

Cache #9 has been set to bring you to the Old School.

The Old School was built in 1873 and over the past few years has undergone a complete refurbishment which was sympathetically completed to keep the appearance and structure of the building. Internally it has been totally changed to make the most of the space available. The Old School is a charity dedicated to the social welfare, recreation, education of local children and adults.

You should be able to park a short walk from the cache if doing it as a cache and dash. I would consider the site to be wheelchair accessible, but and the cache would NOT be retrievable without assistance .

The cache is a magneyic small tube. It only contains a log. You should bring your own writing instrument. It should be an easy find, though you may well need tweezers on similar to retrieve it.

Don't forget to collect the information needed for the bonus. This is written on the top of the log sheet. Please log any issues / DNF's - as I can check the cache very easily. .

CONGRATULATIONS: FTF LITTLECASSIE
