Went to visit my Aunt Nellie last week. She must be the greatest
Control All person I have ever met. She and Uncle Tom been living
in the same house since she was 24 years old and I doubt she has
had a neighbor last longer than 24 months. She has the most
powerful pairs of binoculars money can buy and a decibel meter
sitting next to her while she watches down the street from her
overstuffed chair. She keeps a log book of the comings & goings
of all her neighbours. Just beware if you play your radio too loud
or if you have a free flow exhaust on your car. I think she has
called the police so often that they have a special line dedicated
to her.
The only time the neighbours can rest easy is when
“Eastenders” is showing on the television, albeit
reruns or the omnibus Aunt Nellie will be watching. It’s
during this period of 54 minutes or so, that Uncle Tom makes a bee
line to the garden shed where he hides his stock of whisky. I
don’t think Uncle Tom has made any decisions for the last 39
years as Aunt Nellie rules the house and Uncle Tom’s life

Bringing Aunt Nellie up to date with what’s happening on
our side of the family. I told her about Geocaching and how
coordinates work. I then showed her my GPS and with her house saved
under favourites. To which she turned, slapped me behind my head
stuck a finger in my ear and said. “You will find the correct
coordinates in here somewhere.” So now I leave it up to you
