Yes, the Mountain State Geocaching Society is holding an event in
Virginia! After previously invading our neighbors to the north
(i.e. Maryland), this time MSGS is commuting south!
WVKiwi invites all to come and join her in Winchester on
Tuesday, November 23. We'll aim to claim a corner (ideally around
the hearth) and gather for an informal meet-and-greet to talk
geocaching, enjoy each others' company, and (at least in Kiwi's
case) pass a few hours where otherwise she'd just be stuck in
Winchester without anything else to do.
When:
Tuesday, November 23, 2010 from 6:00—8:00 PM
Where:
Panera
2605 South Pleasant Valley Road
Winchester, VA
Why:
To eat and/or sip a warm drink, talk geocaching, meet cachers new
and old, and perhaps trade a few bugs and coins too. Those who wish
to may also do some geocaching before or after the event.
It doesn't matter whether you're from Virginia, West Virginia or
beyond, have one find or several thousand -- all are welcome and
encouraged to attend!
