Phew, Winston, is that you?
There is limited parking at the Winooski Valley Park District Natural Area, on the dirt road west of the Burlington North Wastewater Treatment Facility.
As soon as you get by the smell, take the Derway Island Nature Trail. This is a pleasant walk on a quiet wooded trail that dogs will love. Winston says, "the best way to get to my ride is to stay on the Nature Trail."
In addition to his obvious good looks Winston was very smart. He earned his AKC Canine Good Citizen® (CGC) award, he was a certified and registered Service Animal for Maxi and he wore a Geocaching "Log My Dog" tag. If you saw him on your travels you could log him as a discovered trackable. See Winston's Log My Dog tag.
The cache is a small lock box, w/pencil and is winter friendly, when the trail is. . . The trail is not bicycle friendly, according to the sign.

Winston died from Lymphoma on 05/23/2015. His many caches are being maintained by Dudley. Like Winston, Dudley is an Airedale and loves to go geocaching. She will do her best to keep Winston's memory and caches alive. She wears his travel bug and looks forward to geocachers logging her in the future.
