Are you a geocaching ninja? If so, this micro cache is right up your alley! It's located near a beautiful statue/fountain in Kendall Square Cambridge. It should be available year-round, but massive amounts of snow may make it a challenge. Bring your own writing utensil! (And please let me know if the log is getting full!)

"Galaxy: Earth Sphere" is a well-known Kendall Square landmark. It was created in 1989 by artist Joe Davis. In the warmer months, the statue transforms into a beautiful fountain, making this a great place to relax during lunch time or after a busy day. This area is SWARMING with muggles at pretty much any hour of the day, and there are definitely plenty of places where this little cache could be hiding. You'll need to use a lot of stealth!
The best way to get here is to take the MBTA Red Line to Kendall/MIT. Once you exit the station, simply look around. The statue will be in very plain sight, no matter where you are! As you are facing Main Street, the "Galaxy: Earth Sphere" statue/fountain will be to your left if you were riding an Alewife train, and to your right (and across the street) if you got off of an Ashmont or Braintree train. If you insist on driving, there are garages in the area, but precious little on-street parking.
Congratulations to mpbamberg for being the first to find this cache!
(Galaxy: Earth Sphere & the area surrounding, has been renovated in the Spring of 2017.)
Please Note: Heavily Muggle-full area, day & night, so please use your best 'stealth' practice. And please remember where & how you've found the container, and replace it EXACTLY as found, to match the hint, and hidden away very well from muggle's view.
