Geocache Description:

In the early days of Geocaching fallenfaery & Special Ed started a tradition to recognize those who pass a major milestone by placing milestone caches. After all these years the tradition still carries on today and is just a small way to congratulate local cachers on their efforts. In continuation of this tradition, this cache is placed for jwheels1 (AKA: Jonathan) honoring his accomplishment of reaching 2,000 finds.

jwheels1 has been caching for a while and is an asset to the geocaching community. He has several hides, attends events, organizes outings and has been very active in helping young cachers get started (and hooked) on this hobby.I have had the opportunity to cache with him on a few occasions and he always has good advice and interesting caching info.

While we all have interesting stories from our geocaching adventures, jwheels1 has one of the most interesting. It occurred on a night geocaching run with Scott Berks and included the police, bees and an ER. Rather than me telling the story as I heard it, it is much better to read both Scott's and Jonathan's log from that particular cache.

jwheels1 is also one of the selected few to make a co-hosting
appearance on the Chicago Geocacher Podcast: (visit link)

Congrats on 2000!!!!!!

This hide is literally right off a trail. It actually may be too close and may need to be moved down the road. In the meantime, please cover the ammo can back up the way you found it or better. I did not have traditional swag to start this off so I included some potential cache containers for you to take and hopefully use.
