Retention basin Mauerbach
A retention basin is used to
manage stormwater runoff to prevent flooding and downstream
erosion.
Unfortunately this retention basin
does only manage one river, the Mauerbach.
The other main river, the
Hirschgartenbach, isn´t part of the project.
Therefore there can still be a flooding problem in
Mauerbach.
There is a little parking area
next to the cache!
