Dorreen is a old railway stop along the way to terrace.
Travel east from Terrace until you get to Saint Crox bridge then go aprox. 1 more km and you will see a road to you left with a large bridge over the skeena, this is called Skeena West. (if you get to the rest area you've gone too far) There is a large parking area with a out house to the left of the bridge. Once you've gone over the bridge and the railway tracks go right and follow that road for 19.5kms, there is a small place to park here also. Where the gate crosses the road is a trail on the right, follow that for about 7kms and there will be a fork, take the one to the right that immediately crosses the track then up a hill, follow that for about 2 kms and you will be there. the first road is car friendly but a 4x4 is recomended. the next trail is atv or hiking only. We did this thanksgiving weekend in about 4 hours on atv's total distance was 58 kms from the bridge.
Cache containes: Stress book, two toy cars and a pocket knife.
