It is a Nano you are looking for and the search will take you all the way out to the airport. Only a short detour from the highway.
I came through here on my holidays, sightseeing and caching. The sightseeing part also took me out to the airport. It has been established as an airfield on August 20th in 1919 and on November 30th was the first landing.
A historically important date was November 3rd 1922. Qantas' first scheduled mail and passenger flight landed here on that day, coming from Charleville.
The original hangar is still in use, it's the building closest to the cache site. The sign still shows the original name of the company.
The cache site is accessible in a wheelchair, but to reach the cache a person in a wheelchair will need some help.
