Located at State Lands Ballfields City Park also known as Geer Park, Korat considers this her backyard and loves to place hides here. You might think twice about a flashlight search here as you are close to a prison. Then again maybe you won't.
The terrain in this area varies with the season. Korat picked up some new cache containers at the 2010 Keizer Iris Festival Geocaching Challenge and this is one of them. Seasoned cachers will likely track down and pounce on this one fairly fast while newcomers may need to look a bit. Be sure to replace it opening up to help prevent water from soaking it. And if you feel like you are being watched, you could be right. You might want to smile for the camera or wave at the guards or Korat on the hill. Maybe not-maybe no one is looking and you might feel foolish. Have fun....remember this is only a game. And yikes there are still some mosquitos around here.
