The station is not in operation but used to be a bustling business in past years. Texaco has become Texawent.
You are looking for a tiny cache hidden where many used to buy their gasoline. It's hard to imagine how this was once a highly visited gasoline station and one which now sits dormant (because of the economy downswing?). Must be a sign of the times. Several times it has started up again only to shut down a mere few months later. The container is no longer a nano. Camo taped bison tube.
A pristine clean log sheet will greet the FTF'er who finds this cache. Way too small to house a pen let alone any swag. Please replace this cache exactly as you found it.
Please be stealthy as there have been homeless people in the vicinity who are watching what you are doing. I moved the cache across the street to avoid being close to them.
CONGRATULATIONS TO THE SHARROWFAMILY FOR BEING THE FTF!!! SOUNDED LIKE QUITE THE ADVENTURE IN STOPPING IN FOR THIS ONE!
Maybe this station will once again regain its former status as a bustling business.
