Geocache Description:

Update: It was a tiny pine, then it grew into a lofty pine, then it got felled and has moved to an old pine. There are benches along this side of the dam which would be perfect for getting out your flask. *Update.* Changed the cache container. It's now a better size with a little more real estate to nestle swaps in.

The Baitings dam circular is a set of caches that form a pleasant, but sometimes muddy, walk around the dam. If you are in a hurry you could get round them all in an hour, but it is worth taking your time and enjoying the walk. The first, second and fifth of them are wheelchair access-able, the rest aren't. At the time of placing the route as a variable feel to it. The southern side of the dam is a walk through pleasant woodland, while the north side has recently had its trees harvested and offers a more open view of the reservoir and its surroundings. Thanks to Yorkshire Water for their kind permission to place these caches, and their help with all the caches we have placed on their turf. ....FTF goes to bluewhitereg.
