Ulumay is full of inland waterways that will take you past many different types of wildlife. Fish will be jumping, spiders will be spinning webs and birds will be flying everywhere. Take time to enjoy nature and a leasure paddle. This cache will test your paddling skills a bit as there are many low hanging branches, tight spots and usually shallow waters.
Right now the water levels are very high making for a much easier paddle (as of October 2nd 2010). I would highly recommend going out to these caches now while the levels are high. We have paddled during low waters and it is not as enjoyable. This is the only water cache heading in this direction as of now but worth your trip. It should not take too long to paddle to this one.
You are looking for a Decon container (now a brown preform). It is tethered to a tree so you will have to get close enough to open the container where it is hanging. Please remember you need to hear 4 clicks when closing the decon container to assure that it is closed properly and to keep it from leaking.
The rating on difficulty is based on low levels of water. Right now it is not as tough but it will be a lot harder as the levels drop.
While in the area be sure to check out the number 1 favorite Traditional Cache in the state of Florida A Cool Cache GC15RQB
