We got our new book on the blue-blazed trails of Eastern CT this week from the Connecticut Forest & Park Association and upon doing a little research we found that there were no caches in this section of the Shenipsit Trail, so.....this is the second of three caches we hid in the area today.
Our cache is located near a nice little brook. It would be a good spot to take a rest and enjoy the area.
The cache is in a rectangular lock-n-lock container that can hold the log book and small trade items. This is also a good cache for trackable items. It is located about 80 feet from the blue-blazed trail.
